For the first time, the Manilatown Heritage Foundation partnered with the Chinese Cultural Center of San Francisco to bring back the Chinatown Music Festival.
The festival will feature various workshops, performances, and other activities that highlight both Chinatown and Manilatown neighborhoods of the city. Artists that are expected to perform include Rebirth Canal, Chino Yang and the Manilatown Heritage Foundation’s house band The Autonomous Region.
The festival will take place in Chinatown’s Portsmouth Square on Saturday, Aug. 28th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission to the festival is free.
