2020 The Year of the Woman: Exploring Social Justice Through the Eyes of Artist Hadi Aghee

Join Chopsticks Alley Art Tongue lecture series for an interactive art and culture immersion experience.

2020 celebrates the 100th Anniversary of Women’s Suffrage in the US. It is supposed to be the "Year of the Woman." Yet the celebration has taken a back seat to a pandemic and veiled by cries for social justice. How can we forget?

We invite you to join our lecture with Artist Hadi Aghaee who will share his artworks exploring women's roles in society. The central message is to look twice at things we do not yet see at first glance.

We also have a special performance with EJ Villanueva, a Woodwind Musician & Educator.
